This may be the mid-summer "get-away" you are looking for...  3 days of leisurely paddling & quiet water exploration using the lightest Adirondack built solo canoe ( a Hornbeck Boat) for your ultimate enjoyment.  Enjoy two nights of serenity on the shores of a remote Adirondack Lake inhabited by loons.  A short hike offering views overlooking the Lake Lila & Whitney Wilderness is also an option.  Hornbeck Boats, paddling gear, backpacks, camping gear, cooking gear and meals are provided for this trip.

Henderson Lake - Preston Ponds - Indian Pass

Try the "lightest boats in the woods" on this stunningly scenic, small group, wilderness adventure...  Paddle & hike for 3 days in an area that offers spectacular mountain views & pristine waters.  An awesome and more challenging experience that's certainly well worth the effort!  Hornbeck solo canoes, paddling gear, backpacks, camping gear, cooking gear and meals are provided for this trip.  Group size is limited to 4 people.

This 3-day leisurely paced, very scenic fall adventure is well suited for those new to backpacking as well as those looking for an opportunity to just get out and spend some time in the woods before winter sets in.  Backpacks, camping gear, cooking gear and meals are provided as necessary for this trip.

Learn to Use a GPS:
 Workshop Schedule
Great "hands on" introductory course for anyone interested in learning how to operate a GPS.  Garmin eTrex GPS units are provided for use during these workshops.  A wonderful opportunity for anyone considering a GPS purchase in the future OR to learn how to use one currently owned.  Various GPS features are explained that should make selecting an appropriate GPS for your needs easier.
