Why hire a guide?
Our guides will serve you by:
Assisting you in your trip planning, preparation and getting you and your gear to the trailhead or put in.
Accompanying you on your backcountry trek or along your water route to your planned destination. Your safety is their primary priority.
Providing wilderness information and history when appropriate.
Utilizing low impact camping techniques to preserve the wilderness for future generations.
Assisting you in setting up a wilderness camp. This includes finding a safe site location or shelter, setting up a cooking area, locating a water source, caring for human waste, and securing your food supply so the forest critters don't enjoy a meal on you.

Instructing you on navigation skills so you can get around in the wilderness on your own, if that is your desire.
Escorting you safely back to the front country when your trip comes to it's end.
