Charlie is a retired Physical Education instructor. He graduated from Saranac Lake High School in 1958 and Cortland College in 1962. Charlie taught Physical Education in the Tupper Lake Central School system, located in northern New York, for 33 years. While there he designed and installed a Project Adventure High Ropes Course for the Physical Education Program. He also coached track, football and weight training for many years.

Charlie enjoys many outdoor interests which include hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. He carries his digital camera on every venture and enjoys sharing his photos online for others to view. Be sure to check out his website at www.adirondackscenes.com 

Charlie's trekking experience spans the Adirondack Mountains of New York, the Green Mountains of Vermont, the White Mountains of New Hampshire, the Colorado Rockies and the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia and Tennessee. He is an Adirondack 46er (#3646), a White Mountain 4000 footer and a New England 111er (a person ascending all 115 summits over 4000' in New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.)

Besides being Gidget's buddy, Charlie joins us as NYS Licensed Guide #4802. We are excited to have him on our team!
