Enjoy a week of varied adventure, sight-seeing and camaraderie where sea and mountains meet!

Join us for some fun, adventure and relaxation in Maine's Acadia National Park.  This is an incredibly beautiful area with plenty for everyone to see and do!  Experience sweeping mountain views, rugged ocean scenery and wildlife while exploring Mount Desert Island's mountain tops, shorelines and inland waters.  This is one of our favorite places to play!

This multi-sport package is ideal outdoor enthusiasts who would like to explore the wonders of Acadia on foot, bicycle and sea kayak at a leisurely pace.  Daily adventure excursions include:

• Hikes along wide-open granite mountaintops with spectacular views of forest and ocean.

• Biking on "vehicle free" roads (a 57-mile network of carriage roads contributed by John D. Rockefeller, Jr. in the 1920s and 1930s)

• The Jordan Pond House experience to recharge your system after hiking or biking - popovers and beverage on the tea lawn, a special and unique Acadia tradition.   

• A sunset sea kayak tour.

• Ocean side hiking and nature walks with opportunities to explore the shoreline with its many tidal pools and spectacular views.

• A Bar Harbor Puffin, Whale Watch and Lighthouse tour.

Join us for the scheduled activity of the day or take the time to enjoy some sight-seeing on your own... maybe a visit to Bar Harbor or the other harbors on the island, spend time browsing the shops, relax at a fresh water and/or ocean side beach, experience a horse-drawn carriage ride or visit museums and sites that interest you.  Island Explorer, which is a free shuttle bus transportation system servicing much of Mt. Desert Island, is easily accessible from our cottages.  Nearby Bar Harbor/Hancock County Airport has direct connections to Boston allowing car-free travel to and from Acadia.  Shared lodging is in a secluded, wooded area with fully equipped cottages located in Bernard, ME (Tremont and Bass Harbor) on the quieter southwest side of Mt. Desert Island.  Southwest Harbor is less than 4 miles away. The cottages are serviced by the Island Explorer Shuttle allowing car-free exploration of the island.  Transportation to Bernard is not included in the price of the package. 

This package includes 6-nights shared lodging in fully equipped cottages, food & meals for the week (dinner Sunday through lunch Saturday), a lobster cookout, Oceanside BBQ, a daily adventure excursion, whale watching tour, sunset sea kayak tour, relaxation time, boat and bike rentals. Optional tours/services may be added for an additional fee if desired. Private room accommodations for singles may be available for an additional fee.
